That exact thing almost happened to me! Except for the beginning and parts in the middle and a totally different ending - exact same thing happened to me.
Man, Patton Oswalt is taking the country by storm, no? A few weeks ago a friend begged off helping us paint our dining room b/c he was going to a "Patton Oswalt" show. I figured it was just the hip youngster's way of saying he was going to get high and play risk in somebody's basement.
