If you haven't read the first two installments of the Washington Post's exposé of Dick Cheney, be sure to give them a read before his hired goons shut down the paper.
Update: Olbermann had a terrific segment on the leader of our impenetrable shadow government.
Balloon Juice has a nice piece on it today too, with Tim F.'s discovery of the fact that Cheney - hold your breath - has contradicted himself in his views on the responsibilities of the Veep.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite quote from the piece: "Stealth is among Cheney's most effective tools." And surprise. Stealth and surprise...and fear...
ReplyDeleteAmongst Cheney's weaponry are such diverse elements as: stealth, surprise and fear...Nobody expects the Extraordinary Rendition!
Well played, SSB. I was surprised to learn Cheney's code name with the Secret Service was "Angler." I would've assumed "Torquemada" or something more fitting.
