Where's My Cheap Swine?

So we had the swine flu (biggest disappointment since cat scratch fever), and everyone is afraid of pork. Yeah, it's stupid, but it's America. So how come I can't get a good price on pork? $1.99/lb for pork chops? come on, we can do better.

This is an unusual way to commemorate the anniversary of the Normandy Invasion, but I have to agree with you.

As long as we're talking pork, I discovered a new marinade. Lawry's Steak and Chop marinade, with cracked black pepper and garlic. Really basic and really damn good on pork chops.

I use that marinade too. It's really, really good. Maybe you should switch this blog's focus from political stuff to helpful household and cooking tips. Then it'll really take off.

We'll corner the HGTV market in the blogosphere.

Seriously, that marinade is outstanding. I used to swear by the Stubb's pork marinade, but there's a new sheriff in town, and his name is Reggie Hammond.
