If you haven't seen the ever-expanding list of John McCain's flip-flops over at the Carpetbagger Report, it's worth taking a look. As you can see, John McCain is such a mavericky straight-talkin' maverick that he's able to defy logic itself and take all sides of virtually every issue there is. It's impressive.
Be sure to check it out. Better yet, be sure to pass the link along to the independents and conservatives in your life. The lapdogs in the media sure won't.

Sweet. I keep trying to cobble a list together here or there for my red friends, but this is way better.
I love the ones where he's opposed to a bill he cosponsored. That takes a lot of class.
Seriously. His opposition to the McCain-Kennedy immigration reform bill is especially galling given the fact that the campaign's shills always point to McCain's bold stance on immigration as an example of how he goes against his party's will.
Mavericks can do whatever they want.
