Sweet! Corzine is predicted to win in NJ too, and that Minnesota mayor who came out for Bush last year got his ass handed to him as a result.

The screeching you hear are Republican politicians running away from Bush as fast as they can.

"There's no way to spin this than anything other than a major defeat for Republicans and for President Bush," said University of Virginia political scientist Larry Sabato.

Despite where he works, I'll take it!

On TV, they said that some 80K of Kaine's 100K-vote margin were from Northern Virginia. Interesting. I hope they post solid numbers soon.

Kilgore looks like a young version of the French general in . That couldn't have helped him. And Bush's endorsement didn't either.

Mrs T: MY favorite memory from my weekend spent at UVA as a prospective undergrad (and believe me I had lots to choose from, including a weird water fight, three roommates who didn't speak with one another, another with an eating disorder and another girl who was engaged to a boy she'd never even kissed!) was when one of the girls hosting me turned to me and said, "Look, don't come to school here. This place is full of shit and like 95% of the women have an eating disorder. You will totally get one too!"
That pretty much sealed the deal...

And oh yeah, YAY FOR DEMS in NJ and VA!!!

Ha! Love the UVA story, orf. I'm sure Mrs. T will add it to her ever-expanding list of "Reasons Why UVA Sucks". She's saving up to have the list chiselled onto a big boulder in our living room, like the bill of rights thing Roy Moore had in the courthouse in Bama.

Why does Mrs. T hate Thomas Jefferson?

And why does Mrs. T hate chicks with eating disorders? To quote Irod, "You can't **** nice."

One can't **** skin and bones, either!

UVA now has another credential: an alumnus making an attempt at gov'nerhood. Ha!
