I've just discovered a music blog that might help chase away the Monday blues -- So Much Silence.
The top few posts contain entire live sets by Arcade Fire, Iron & Wine, and Calexico. Well worth a visit, if only to hear Iron & Wine covering Elvis's "Always on My Mind." Enjoy.

I haven't checked this out yet, but thanks for coming correct on the music suggestions, Otto. My IT dude contacted me last week b/c I apparently use oodles of bandwidth and am the second highest offender in all the organization's land and can I please cut back on the streaming. Dude, I says, it's NPR.
And also, it's this spiffy new service another co-worker introduced me to called pandora.com. It's a bit like a personalized radio station and it's free. Type in a band or song you really like and they play more music by that artist and others like it. It's all based on this complex algorithm and some of the music they played for me was stuff I'd never heard of, but it's a cool, free way to find new bands and also to sample some of the wacky stuff that turns up in the FRTs here. I meant to mention it on my FRT last week.
