Defining Religious Persecution Down

First, they came with the lions. Then, they came with the crucifixes. Now they come with the meter maids.
In the nation's capital, where parking is scarce, churchgoers say plans to crack down on double-parking infringe on their religious rights.

It's definitely religious persecution. Remember Jesus's message about the faithful needing to "rest their donkeys one next to the other"?

By the way, I can verify that church parking is a hot issue in the DC area.

As is school parking, mall parking, post office parking, commuter parking, NFL stadium parking, and parking lot overflow parking. Parking is just something we like to way underplan for in these parts.
