Helper Monkey

Once again, John Rogers over at Kung Fu Monkey knocks it out of the park with the post of the week.

It's almost like that guy writes for a living or something.

Shorter Alan Dershowitz:

"Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out."

--

"those who cannot leave on their own — should be counted among the innocent victims." Christ, Dershowitz is one step short of "the only good injun is a dead injun."

That is a tremendous post by Rogers.

And I love the Saudi Prince story. A great tale, vividly retold—I can practically picture it in my imagination to the point of casting it.

Must be nice to be a blogger who is also a screenwriter, as opposed to just a regular old jackass like myself...

The final line about the prince was fantastic.

Every time I think about Dershowitz, I picture the Dershowitz knockoff who was part of Homer's legal team on the Simpsons. The one who could put three billiard balls in his mouth.

Sounds like the caricature wasn't too far off, since the real deal managed to get both feet in there.

That was a very fine post by the kung fu guy.

And lordy is that op-ed by Dershowitz crazy. I think the best take I've seen on it was at the poor man (or was it Digby? I think it was Digby), who ran a few grafs of Ward Churchill saying pretty much the same thing (except about the Americans who were killed on 9/11).

and has blogger been annoying today or what? damn.

I think Blogger needs a helper monkey.

Yep, Blogger sucked today, but since it's free, I usually get over myself rather quickly...

(and actually get some work done in the process)

It was Digby who had the Churchill quote...

Nothing's free, Furious. If Blogger was free, you can bet Google wouldn't own it.
