Make Me Wanna Holler

I've been on hold with my doctor's office for a while. While I, like all true Americans, am a Marvin Gaye fan, I have to question the selection of "Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)" as a while-you-wait song. Here's a sampling of the lyrics:

Money, we make it
Fore we see it, you take it
Oh, make me wanna holler
The way they do my life
...
Bills pile up sky high
Send that boy off to die
Make me wanna holler
The way they do my life
...
Hang ups, let downs
Bad breaks, set backs
Natural fact is
I can't pay my taxes

Nice. A song about high bills, dying, and having to wait. What better tune to soothe the troubled nerves of a patient?

Amen to that. But I don't think my doctor provides those kinds of services.

You will never know until you ask.
