O'Reilly's Court of the Living Dead

This post at Media Matters is hysterical:
On the July 20 Radio Factor, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly referred to Chief Justice William Rehnquist as a "vampire," and, later on, Supreme Court associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a "zombie." Elaborating on his Rehnquist comments, O'Reilly said that "he does not believe" Rehnquist "is a human being" and that "I believe that ... you have to drive a stake through the man's heart." He then warned viewers that if he ever meets Rehnquist, he will be "wearing garlic around my neck and a cross."

As usual, O'Reilly's shrewd analysis sheds a lot of light on the current state of the Supreme Court. It really helps explain the recent decision in George Romero v. Braaaaiinnns.

Thank goodness for Mediamatters. How can they stand to listen to the radio factor? I won't lie: Limbaugh puts on a heck of an entertaining radio show. Even G. Gordon Liddy's show is entertaining. But O'reilly? Lordy, he sucks. He ain't crap without the onscreen powerpoint summaries of his talking points.

Yeah, I enjoy watching O'Reilly, where he basically reads nearly verbatim the "talking points" on screen next to him. Par for the course for Republican pundits, I suppose.

I just saw "Shaun of the Dead" last night. Great movie, but dammit if Rehnquist wasn't in it as a zombie.

O'Reilly was much more entertaining on Hard Copy. I think it's weird that we're given what looks like his TelePrompter script. I prefer his sarcastic remarks; perhaps he could move over to Talk Soup.
