I got the same Google ads about George Allen when I received an unrelated email with the word "douchebag" in it.
Since I use "Mike" as a shortened version of my given name, "Macaca," you imagine how many of those I've gotten lately.
Ha! I sure wish I could write "I am macaca" to pass a test. I always wrote "I am Ironman," and got an F.
I've avoided the Allen foot-in-mouth saga for a few days. I have limited interest in bigoted dolts and Mel Gibson got there first.
But now I wonder who's ahead in the apologies sweeptstakes. And, will either of them surpass Trent Lott's weeks of living off mea culpas and humble pie?
Just morbid curiosity.
Ahh, Trent Lott. Those were good times, no? And such a blindside; he'd been playing footsie with the Klan his whole political career, and all of a sudden some comments at Thurmond's bday party crushes his career.
Won't happen to Felix, but it's been fun watching him squirm for a couple weeks.
