Nomentum

The Daily Show was on fire last night with the Lieberman stuff. In one of several great zingers, correspondent Samantha Bee reduced Holy Joe's never-say-lose attitude to a perfect, anti-Sherman statement: "If not nominated, he will run. If not elected, he will serve."

Missed it? Crooks and Liars, as always, has your back.

That really was awesome. I hope not too many people commit Joeicide today.

I haven't seen it yet, but hear they had a good line about "if Lieberman loses, he plans to start his own Senate."

It is sweetness. Plus, there's a high-larious Hannity & Colmes moment at the beginning of the segment.

For those of you who have seen it, my vote is for "Vinsanity Sucks Ass."

You just don't hear enough good Vinsanity jokes these days. I blame Jason Kidd.

Really good. Bee said Lieberman would make himself Senate Majority Leader and lead a caucus of Walter Mondale, Mike Dukakis, and the zombie corpse of Adlai Stevenson.

Stewart responded to Lieberman's "halftime" metaphor by saying there was a simpler sports metaphor -- a game was played, and you lost.

Bee, meanwhile, just called him a creepy stalker.
