Ha! I just posted the same cartoon. It's one of his better ones.

I am, at the moment, mad as hell, because I just heard on NPR that the Senate Intelligence Committee voted not to investigate the domestic spying program. They vote went along party lines (surprise, surprise). Apparently, it will be ok for the President to break the law, as long as he lets the committee know about it.

Yeah, I figured we'd seen the last of congress pretending to provide oversight on the spying stuff. I think Digby noted how the "serious" republicans in congress love to appear very concerned about something, then they declare that after careful examination they agree completely with the extremists.

I love the comeback from the little cartoon Toles in the corner.

I'm with you, Bob. The NYT had a story on this and it's infuriating. Congress essentially gave the president their testicles, and now the eunuchs are boasting about how they've "restored congressional oversight." Bullshit.

If there's a bright spot to the moment our slide into dictatorship really began in earnest, it's that the Dems can now really paint the congressional GOP as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the White House.

Holy shit. I can't say I'm really surprised, but somehow I am, in fact, surprised. I actually beleived in Hagel and Snowe...

Fool me 482 times...I won't get fooled again.

I wish I could believe it, but this is over and done with now. End of story. Old news. Inside baseball. Nothing to see.

Fuck. I don't even care about the politics of it. this was just wrong.

Mr Furious is about to suffer from outrage fatigue...
