Stupid Like a Fox!

Words fail me. Check out this actual, real, serious campaign commercial from North Carolina congressional candidate Vernon Robinson.

Apparently, when he styled himself as "the black Jesse Helms" he really meant it. Insane.

Holy Crap! I almost can't believe that's not from The Daily Show or something...

At least he shows some creativity for a facist asshole.

Yes! Finally! Someone who supports the traditional American family values of hate, intolerance, racism and fear!

Seriously, Smitty. The only person who would call the issues in that ad "family values" must've been raised by abusive, deranged drunks.

It was my favorite line of the whole piece, right there at the end. "I approve of this message and I approve of traditional American family values."

That got my blood to a nice rolling boil.

I tried to warn you all, RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman's been out trying to round up as many African Americans and Hispanics as he can. Robinson could very well be one of Mehlman's recruits.

When it comes to Neanderthal crackpots, Helms is a hard act to follow, but Robinson looks like he just might be up to it.
